Airboat Harvesting involves, the Airboat skimming lightly over the water and "knocking" the ripe rice into a large metal scoop on its front. This process does not harm the stock and it will stand up again after the Airboat passes. With this process producing more pounds of rice per day than the Hand Harvesting method, Our Airboat harvested Wild Rice will cook and taste very similar to our Hand Harvested Wild Rice, which means a reduced cooking time in comparison to cultivated Wild Rice, and a delicious nutty flavor.
